Something weird on YouTube

Hey, everyone! sorry i was gone for a little long (again), but, this is where it get's interesting, i think: i found out that YouTube is now hosting an odd ad that's like half black screen!

what happened to google?

 well, this is pretty much my 50th post, but right now, that's not the point.

the real point... uh, yeah. my connection went out, and when it came back on, i tried to go to google, but then, i received this message from the site...

...does this pretty much mean google is now temporarily in "maintainence?" or is probably dead, and needs to be fixed?

sorry, i was gone for so long... it's like i never even started a blog! actually, a couple blogs...
so, you pretty much know the unfortunate truth about the new YT player, but, theres more stuff i personally don't like about YT...

1. too many ads. it started with just one block-shaped ad, then there's 2, then, like a small banner ad under the description, and now, 2 slightly bigger banner ads on thee top and bottom?! if you count them all, there are a total of 5-ish ads on YT. if you hate ads, like me, then you might say that's 5 too many.
2.  video ads. some are 15 seconds long, some are 30, some are a complete 60 (a minute, to be exact) and some... are like longer than that. some can be skipped, but the ones that can't... they'll unfortunately be just wastin' yo' time. so, like the new YT player, i unfortunately think video ads are another bad idea, sadly.
3.  false YT videos, like the one's that link you to a fake YT-like site called "video-tube." like, are you crazy?! that type of ad would be the worst! thinking it's a part of YT itself! it'll ask you to answer questions for a stupid survey (which i also unfortunately don't like), and if you get behind the popup, like shut down JS, it turns out, the video is otherwise just an image.

sorry, but the ads need to be eliminated too.
and i won't say "nuff said" this ti-- wait. i did? sorry about that, then.

an unfortunate thruth - i personally dislike the new YT player!

if you have been on youtube before, you'd probably recognize this:

thats the old vers. of the black YT player. the one that was after the white-player era. appearently, there has been adjustments to it. so now, this is what it looks like now:

there might not be enough differences, as if they are the same. but don't let your eyes fool you. its shading was edited, it has a thicker switch thing on the volume. appearently, you're wondering, "why does this post say BTB personally dislikes the new player?" here are some problems with it:

1) caps-pad numbers. they go to a different time in the video you're on. example: let's say you're watching a 10 minute video. 1 goes to the first minute, 2 goes to the second, 3 goes to the third, and so on. in the new black player, appearently, that was disabled.

2) volume adjustment and muting. the pre-new-black-player era YT players could do it with no delay. but the new black player today, appearently, has a 1 second delay, and fades to the volume level you adjusted it to.

unfortunately, i personally dislike the new player for these reasons. sorry, Google, but please go back to the old black player that doesn't disable caps-pad numbers that go to that time, and doesn't do any 1 second delays, or atleast fix it so that the volume goes down and/or up correctly and has the caps-pad number trick. sorry about that. en- oh, man. i was gonna say it again. oh well. enough said, anyways.

my 60th post was finally hit. but then i decided to delete some posts.

now i have to hit 60 posts again.
